Police in Ohio have identified a 19-year-old Akron woman as a suspect in a case involving a stolen LeBron James pendant valued at $10,000.
While Vaneisha Robinson has insisted she purchased the LeBron James pendant at a yard sale for $5 police have said she is now a suspect in receiving stolen property. The pendant belonged to Maverick O. Carter, CEO of LeBron’s marketing company, but he reported the white gold diamond studded piece of jewelry stolen three years ago.
Robinson has said after purchasing what she thought was costume jewelry she had the pendant appraised and after learning the value she attempted to sell it on eBay.
Police have not arrested Robinson or anybody else in the theft.
