Agilent Technologies Inc (NYSE:A) will speak at the JP Morgan Technology Conference on Monday, May 19 at 10:00 am ET.  The presentation will be lead by President and Chief Executive Officer, William P. A measurement company, Agilent Technologies provides core bioanalytical and electronic measurement solutions to the communications, electronics, life sciences and chemical analysis industries. 

Divided into two business segments, the company operates within the electronic measurement business and the bioanalytical measurement business.  The electronic measurement business is focued on the communications and electronics industries.  The bioanalyitical measurement business is focused on the life sciences industry and in the environmental, chemical, food and petrochemical industries and in materials sciences.

Agilent sells its products through direct sales, as well as distributors, resellers, manufacturer’s representatives, telesales and electronic commerce.  The company acquired Colloidal Dynamics in March 2008.  In April 2008, the company acquired TILL Photonics GmbH.
