Clinton Ad Uses Troopergate Newspaper Clipping

On her latest campaign ad Senator Hillary Clinton recycled an old newspaper article on Troopergate, but switched the headline to read “Obama attacks Clinton’s gas tax plan." 

The fake headline was discovered by Democratic Underground blogger berni_mccoy.  Comments on the mishap ranged from “some kind of false flag op?  This doesn’t make any sense…” to “They must have some seriously stupid people working in their media department…” 

Some posters have even speculated that the slip up was not an accident at all.  One poster, IanDB1 responded to the blog asking “Why do you assume it was a MISTAKE?”  IanDB1 claims that “Hillary’s own senior staff is leaking information to the media to sabotage her campaign.”

The Troopergate scandal involved allegations by two Arkansas state troopers who allegedly arranged sexual liaisons for the then governor Bill Clinton in 1993.
