The Eagles to Perform Live at TD Banknorth Garden July 30

The Eagles will be performing live at the TD Banknorth Garden on Wednesday, July 30 at 8:00 pm.  This is the last of the scheduled concerts this year for the Eagles.

Los Angeles born, the American rock band, the Eagles, has five number one singles and six number one albums.  The group is noted as one of the most successful recording artists during the 1970’s.  Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 and Hotel California have been noted by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as two of the top ten best selling albums by the end of the 20th century.  Hotel California was ranked at 75 on 2004 list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time by Rolling Stone.

The group originally broke up in 1980, however, the band came together in 1994 to release Hell Freezes Over.  A tour followed and the performers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
