Individualized drug addiction treatment offers promise of sobriety
Long term sobriety possible with effective individualized drug addiction treatment plans
It is widely accepted by professionals and the statistics have shown that drug rehabs who utilize an individualized drug addiction treatment plan have far more success with long-term sobriety for its clients than those who utilize one standard treatment method for everyone.
Individualized drug addiction treatment has not always been the standard by which drug rehabs operate. The pioneers of drug rehab, Mountainside Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center, began their program 12 years ago and introduced their individualized treatment program.
“Our number one goal is to have our clients live a life free of drug and alcohol abuse,” begins a spokesperson for Mountainside. “We were determined to put together a program that helped us achieve this goal. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, however, we decided to utilize the systems that were working the best and improve upon them by offering a true, individual drug addiction treatment plan for each person. Through our intake process, we evaluate the needs of a person - one person may be evaluated with a dual diagnosis and another may not. Either way, we have a psychiatrist on staff who is able to effectively manage and treat any type of dual diagnosis that may be discovered. Some clients may be physically dependent on their drug of choice and may need medical intervention. Our nurse practitioner is able to address and treat this need. All of the teams at Mountainside have a specialty within the addiction treatment field, and while they work separately in their particular areas of expertise, they come together to formulate a comprehensive, individual treatment plan that will give the greatest chance of long-term sobriety for each client. Our approach to individualized drug addiction treatment set a new standard of care for drug rehabilitation treatment. And that, in turn, results in our achieving our goal of helping individuals sustain lifelong sobriety.”
For more than 12 years, Mountainside Drug Rehab and Alcohol Treatment Center has led the way in offering an individualized alcohol and drug addiction treatment program.

Walters, who wanted to learn more about the innovative program offered at Mountainside.
In addition to its licensed and certified counselors and social workers, Mountainside provides medical services through an on-staff Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Nurse with specializations in drug addiction and alcohol treatment. Psychiatric services are available when needed.
