Pacific
Ethanol Inc (NASDAQ:PEIX)
has announced a delay in its filing of its Quarterly Report for the first
quarter ended March 31, 2008. The
company will file a Form 12b-25 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission
for an extension to file the Form 10-Q.
The forms will be filed by May 19, 2008.
Pacific
Ethanol originally scheduled a conference call to discuss the earnings for May
12, however, due to the delay; the conference call has been rescheduled to
Monday, May 19 at 10:00 am EDT. The call
will be hosted by Pacific Ethanol Chief Executive Officer Neil Koehler and
Chief Financial Officer Joseph Hansen. A

Pacific
Ethanol, Inc. (Pacific Ethanol) produces and sells ethanol and its co-products
and provides transportation, storage and delivery of ethanol through
third-party service providers in the Western United States, primarily in California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado and Idaho.

has customer relationships throughout the Western United
States and supplier relationships throughout the Western and
Midwestern United States. Pacific Ethanol’s customers are integrated oil
companies and gasoline marketers who blend ethanol into gasoline. It supplies
ethanol to its customers either from its own ethanol production facilities
located within the regions it serves, or with ethanol procured in bulk from
other producers.
