“This broad reach reflects how SuperCamp provides students with learning and life skills that transcend geographic boundaries and state academic curricula,” said Bobbi DePorter, president of SuperCamp. “Students gain motivational, communication and broadbased academic skills that apply to all school subjects and help them in their lives outside of school.”

Given the summer camp’s growing popularity, remaining availability for this summer is limited. Ms. DePorter is urging parents to act now if they want their son or daughter to get into a SuperCamp program. “Last year we had over 200 kids on a waiting list unable to get into SuperCamp because the parents waited a little too long to decide on a date and location,” said DePorter.
The 10-day camps start as early as June 27 and as late as August 14, with the majority starting throughout July and early August. SuperCamp also runs a 7-day Youth Forum program in San Diego for students entering grades 4 and 5 in the fall and a Quantum U program for incoming college freshmen, which is held at Colorado College in Colorado Springs.
Program costs range from $1,895 to $2,895 depending upon the particular program and location. The cost includes tuition, room and board.
