James Garner, best known for his roles on the television series "The Rockford Files" and "Maverick", is in full recovery Tuesday after suffering a stroke last week.
Garner, 80, went to the hospital after becoming ill at home Friday. Once Garner arrived at the hospital, it was determined that he suffered a mild stroke.
Garner won an Emmy Award for his lead role as Jim Rockford in "The Rockford Files" in 1977.
Garner was nominated for an Oscar for 1985's Murphy's Romance and was given a Screen Actor's Guild lifetime achievement award in 2005.
