The Dave Matthews Band will be playing live, in concert, at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, June 10 at 7:00 pm. The band will then play at the New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford, CT on June 13.
Also known as DMB, the Dave Matthews Band was formed in 1991 in Charlottesville, Virginia. The founder, Dave Matthews (singer, songwriter and guitarist), joined LeRoi Moore (saxophonist), Stefan Lessard (bassist), Boyd Tinsley (electric violinist) and drummer Carter Beauford (drummer) to create one of the top selling music artists of all time (as noted by the Recording Industry Association of America). Although Butch Taylor played with the band frequently on stage as a keyboardist, he was never an official member of the band. Rashawn Ross joined the band from 2006 to 2007 as a live trumpet player. He is best known as the trumpet player for Soulive.
Dave Matthews Band albums include:
Under the Table and Dreaming (1994)
Crash (1996)
Before These Crowded Streets (1998)
Everyday (2001)
The Lillywhite Sessions (2001)
Busted Stuff (2002)
Stand Up (2005)
