Making Betting a Science

In order to boil down betting into a science, it's important to define science. To define science for all intensive purposes as a systematic knowledge gained through observation and experimentation. Science can also be synonymous with technique, method, discipline, even art. Some of the best scientists treated their craft like art, and some of the best artists treated their craft like science. Some even incorporated science and or math into their art like MC Escher. A suggestion to is to treat betting like a science...and an art.

Being studious in Sports Betting will only serve to aid.  A good suggestion would be taking notes. Buy a notebook, and dedicate it solely to information gathering regarding your bets, and prospective bets. Jot down anything that you feel is pertinent to a future bet. Try to figure out if one team has another team's number, and what is the main cause for it. It's not enough to think Team A has Team B's number; you've got to determine why. If determine the root cause of Team A's domination of Team B then see if it's still in effect at a future betting date. Just relying on the fact that Team A always bashes Team B isn't enough.  Boil down the reasons behind why Team A usually beats up on Team B, and thus doing so will increase your odds of winning.

Don't be a hero, and think it's just okay to rely on just memory. A pen and a notebook are a nominal expense that could prove invaluable. Create profiles for teams and players. It doesn't have to be a manifesto of epic proportions, but a note here and there might prove to serve well. If it doesn't work for, what is the big deal? A dollar thirty-nine? Sounds like a cost effective experiment totally.
