Surveillance Footage on Cruise Ship Shows Missing Woman Falling Overboard

The investigation into the disappearance of Mindy Jordan took a turn on Wednesday as the company that owns the cruise ship that she was traveling on revealed they had surveillance footage of the 46-year-old falling overboard.

According to Norwegian Cruise Line, footage was captured of Jordan falling from her balcony just two hours after she boarded The Norwegian Dawn with her boyfriend Jorge Caputo on Sunday.

A rough timeline was released that traced Jordan’s time on the cruise and that revealed she had returned to her room with her boyfriend at about 7:30 p.m. after eating dinner. Caputo left Jordan to visit friends next door and within 15 minutes she had fallen from her balcony and into the Atlantic off the New Jersey coast.

The cruise line initially stated that Jordan appeared to be trying to jump from her balcony to another balcony and said an emergency call had been made from the friends’ room immediately after she fell.

Jordan’s family has expressed suspicion with that story, believing that criminal action may have taken place that led to her falling overboard. The family has requested a full investigation and the FBI is now interviewing passengers on the ship.
