About Chelsea E.

From a girl group to dramatic reality TV and back to music as a solo artist, Chelsea E. has been steadily climbing the entertainment industry ladder for years. Chelsea, a native-born Filipino with Spanish and Chinese roots, was born In Cagayan De Oro Philippines, and has been an L.A. resident since the age of five. At the age of fifteen, Chelsea joined an all Asian female music group called SX4 where she started her professional recording career. Despite worthy promise with 3 singles released under BMG, a recording contract offer with a major European label, and great exposure from such venues like the Hollywood Bowl and the Apollo NY, the group ended its run shortly after. As a solo artist, Chelsea has written and co-written nearly 40 songs to date, and has recorded close to 100 songs. Her debut solo album “Greenlight Girl,” is a combination of pop, acoustic, and urban sounds, and has been compared to the styles of Natasha Bedingfield, Nelly Furtado, Fergie and Pink.
