The Dave
Matthews Band will perform at the Cruzan Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida
on July 11 at 7:00 pm. The band will
play at the venue again the following night before moving on to the Qwest Center
in Omaha, Nebraska
on July 22.
Also known
as DMB, the Dave Matthews Band was formed in 1991 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The founder, Dave Matthews (singer, songwriter and guitarist), joined LeRoi
Moore (saxophonist), Stefan Lessard (bassist), Boyd Tinsley (electric
violinist) and drummer Carter Beauford (drummer) to create one of the top
selling music artists of all time (as noted by the Recording Industry
Association of America). Although Butch Taylor played with the band
frequently on stage as a keyboardist, he was never an official member of the
band. Rashawn Ross joined the band from 2006 to 2007 as a live trumpet
player. He is best known as the trumpet player for Soulive.
Dave
Matthews Band albums
