After pleading guilty to stabbing her boyfriend in a sex game gone wrong, a Canadian woman was sentenced to three years’ probation.
25-year-old Catherine McCoubrey and her boyfriend had been drinking and were engaged in ‘rough sex’ when he asked her to carve a heart-shaped symbol on his chest.
McCoubrey agreed, but pressed the knife too deeply, puncturing her boyfriend’s heart and sending him to the hospital.
The 24-year old victim has since recovered.
