Spanish Police Arrest Major Internet Hackers

Spanish police have arrested five people who they believe to be among the most active Internet hackers in the world.

According to officials, the five launched coordinated attacks over the past two years that debilitated several government sites in the United States, Latin America and Asia. The five are believed to have hacked into more than 20,000 web pages.

Among the five arrested were a pair of 16-year-olds. Arrests took place in Barcelona, Burgos, Malaga and Valencia.
