Ohio Pride! For Reds With Walk-Off Win

The battle of Ohio was at stake in Saturday's day game between the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds and it was a game to watch. The game was advertised to be a pitcher’s duel and it did live up to that. Reds starter Harang threw a beautiful game tossing seven solid innings while allowing only one run. The Indian's sinker ball stud Carmona went seven in a third innings allowing only one run as well.

After the two starters left the game the game was in the hands of the two bullpens. The Indians quickly got the game leading run in the 8th inning with a homer by Francisco off pitcher David Weathers. The Indians then handed the ball to Kobayashi who has been very good so far this season to close the game out in the 9th.

With closer Joe Borowski on the DL the Indians were looking for someone to close out games until he comes back. The plan this time didn't go so well for the Tribe as the Reds slugger Adam Dunn hit a three run homer in the 9th off Kobayashi to send the Reds to 4 to 2 victory in front of 42,023 fans in Cincy. The Reds will have their hands full tomorrow when Cliff Lee takes the mound but maybe this National League team can do what no other AL team has been able to do so far this season, hit Cliff Lee.
