Leonard Cohen will wrap up his first leg of Canadian shows with three dates in Toronto beginning June 6 at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts.
The legendary singer/songwriter kicked off his tour May 11 and still has dates in Glace Bay on May 20 and 21, Moncton on May 23, St. John’s on May 26, Chicoutimi on May 30, Kitchener on June 2 and Hamilton on June 3 before the June 6, 7 and 8 shows in Toronto.
Cohen will then travel to Dublin for three shows at the Irish Museum of Modern Art on June 13, 14 and 15 and then he will travel to Manchester for shows on June 17, 18, 19 and 20.
Cohen has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame as well as the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. The 73-year-old is also an inductee n the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Cohen was recently honored with a Grammy Award as a featured artist on Herbie Hancock’s River: The Joni Letters.
It has been nearly four years since Cohen released his 11th studio album, Dear Heather, yet he remains one of the most influential artists to date.
Among the stops on the Leonard Cohen world tour will be the UK, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, France, Belgium and Portugal.
