The Belittled Giants in Chitown

The Whitesox, in a month filled with Ozzie's mouth, could of not of asked for a better weekend. The AL Central leading Sox, played host to the Giants this past weekend, and proved that they had both the hitting and pitching to get the job done. Friday and Saturday's low scoring pitcher's match was a thing of the past after Sunday's game. The 13 runs the Whitesox put up on way to the sweep should send a message to any of the non-believers of the 05 Champions.

The Sox sent three long balls, on route to their 24th win, although giving up 8 runs. The weekend showed that the Whitesox are indeed not the outcasts of the AL central, but the leaders and setters of the disappointing division. The Giants on the other hand, will have to make the long trip home winless. The Giants, have now only won 4 games all May, and are indeed missing the runs the great Barry Bonds would deliver.

The lack luster team is showing its sign of aging, has the season continues to row. Sadly for the Giants fan, besides the great play of youngster Tim Lincecum, no future looks bright for the bridge bombers. Everyone give a hand for Barry Bonds, as he is the reason the Cove in right may not be populated by its dozen of Kayaks for many years to come.
