Kenny Chesney Wins Entertainer of the Year at ACM Awards

Kenny Chesney took home the Entertainer of the Year award for the fourth consecutive time last night at the Country Music Awards. This year the fans voted for the winner of the award.

“This one is really extra special because long before I had a hit record, the fans always came to the shows. And I want to thank you guys for voting and for being there for me,” Chesney said as he accepted the award.

 

‘American Idol’ champ Carrie Underwood also took home an award. The 25-year-old won the Top Female Vocalist award while newcomer Taylor Swift took home Top New Female Vocalist award.

 

Album of the Year went to Miranda Lambert for ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.’ Sugarland earned Song of the Year for their hit single ‘Stay.’
