German Firefighters Battling Blaze at Home of Berlin Philharmonic
German firefighters are battling a blaze at the home of one of the world’s leading orchestras after fire broke out at the Berlin Philharmonic on Tuesday.
The fire was said to be contained at the roof and musicians had been allowed to retrieve their instruments but large items like pianos were left behind.
There have been no reports of injuries. The source of the fire has yet to be determined.
