Three Dead after Gas Leak at Florida’s Port Everglades

Emergency workers responded to a call identifying a gas-leak at Florida’s Port Everglades early Tuesday and upon arrival they found three people dead from what appeared to be suffocation.

The call to emergency workers reported a leak in an argon gas container aboard a cargo ship. While argon is not a toxic gas it can cause suffocation in a confined space.

An official cause of death has not been released as the investigation continues.
