According to a report from the Associated Press, Woods is now earning $22 million less than he was earning last year. Even so, his estimated earnings are still above $90 million per year, which makes him the highest-earning American athlete. He ranks firmly above the next highest-paid golfer, Phil Mickelson, who reportedly will earn just above $61 million.
