Conference Debuts Interventionist Networking Event

September 2010 “Moment of Change” conference to give treatment providers, interventionists and other professionals a unique opportunity to connect.

"The Moment of Change: Intervention Approaches for Professionals” conference returns to The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla., Sept. 27-30, 2010, and this year offers a new networking opportunity. In addition to giving professionals a chance to go deeper with the issues surrounding intervention and disease concepts, this year’s conference also features a one-of-a-kind, one-day networking opportunity.

The Interventionist Networking Event, to be held on Thursday, Sept. 30, allows interventionists a rare opportunity to individually present their business to an audience comprised of their target clients. The event is free of charge to treatment providers, marketers and conferees, and they will be served a delicious complimentary lunch from The Breakers, providing a perfect setting for connecting in a relaxed setting.

For a low $99 fee, participating interventionists will make a 10-minute presentation, highlighting their business and area of specialty to an audience of colleagues and potential clients. Participants will also be allowed to submit a one-page overview to be included in a summary packet made available to all participants. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and presentation spaces are limited.

“The Moment of Change,” presented by Foundations Recovery Network and Southworth Associates, is in its sixth year and will include six keynote addresses and 30 workshops led by more than 40 of the industry’s leading experts on addiction and recovery.
