Gallup.com and Zogby.com are the most popular of political pollsters but visitors look to websites like USAElectionPolls.com and RealClearPolitics.com for a compilation of polls from various sources. According to Proloy Bhatta, owner of USAElectionPolls.com, "consumers of polls are skeptical of what they read and are likely looking for an unbiased compilation of polls from every possible source".
As to why his web site is on the top of the list for most popular, Bhatta continues on to state "while other compilation sites reported just the media favorites like Rudy Giuliani and John McCain, we took great care to produce and report the results of the lesser known candidates like Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul, and Bill Richardson. Once those candidates gained traction, we were ahead of the pack in reporting their results allowing us to get a bulk of those visitors.. and we've continued to retain them."
