Phoenix Kiosk Teams With TagWorks to Serve PetSmart
Partners Provide a Custom, Laser-Engraving Kiosk to 1,200 PetSmart Retail Locations
Phoenix Kiosk began work with TagWork’s design and production engineers in early 2009 and assembly operations were established that resulted in the production of the first 600 kiosks. It was critical to PetSmart that the kiosks be installed before the December holiday season, and the partnership was able to meet that goal. As a result of the successful program roll out, TagWorks was designated a “Top 30 Supplier” by PetSmart.
Kiosk assembly operations resumed in January, 2010 to complete production for the remaining 600 locations.

Because Phoenix Kiosk and TagWorks are located within the same commercial complex, the companies are extremely efficient. This is vitally important to ensure continuity with the TagWorks technical team, resulting in a perfect on-time delivery record for PetSmart.

Phoenix Kiosk is continuing its commitment to going green during the TagWorks project by reusing packaging that contains lasers for the kiosks. Once the lasers are received by Phoenix Kiosk, the empty packaging is returned for reuse on subsequent shipments. This reduces the amount of landfill waste that Phoenix Kiosk’s operations would create by nearly 450 cubic feet per week.
