Woman Strips to Quiet Pesky Road Workers

She says “I’ll show them what I’ve got.”

A woman pestered by whistling road workers stripped at an ATM to stop the harassment.  Claiming to be harassed by men working on the street that she was on, the woman took off her clothes at an ATM, withdrew money, then redressed before walking away.  The Israeli tourist successfully stopped not only the whistling but the road work as well.

Sgt. Peter Masters states that she did not like the “men’s wolf whistles.”  He continues to comment on the incident by saying “She said she had though’…I’ll show them what I’ve got,’”

The tourist’s actions have been treated “as a one-off” by police.  She was taken to the police station where she was told that her behavior was inappropriate in New Zealand.

The woman was supposed to leave New Zealand later on today.
