Aarushi Talwar Parents Arrested in Her Murder
Aarushi 14, was found murdered in her bedroom on May 15 by her parents. The Talwar’s domestic help, Hemraj, was found murdered on the roof of the house a day later. Police say the victim’s throats were slit with surgical precision.
Noida police believe the slaying could have been an “honour killing.” “It could have been a honour killing or murder due to passionate attachment. It could have been due to extreme hatred or frustration,” said Senior Superintendent of Police, A Satish Ganesh.
The murders are still being investigated.
