3-time NBA All-Star to Leave Team?
According to a report from CBSSports.com, a source with direct knowledge of Chris Paul's situation has said that Paul is continuing in his efforts to leave the New Orleans Hornets and join another team, a team that might have better chances of winning. According to the anonymous source, "He [i.e., Chris Paul] wants out. He wants to play with another superstar. He wants to follow LeBron's model of teaming up with other great players." A 3-time NBA All-Star and the 2006 Rookie of the Year, Paul is easily one of the most talented young players in the NBA. He has been playing for the Hornets since 2005, when he made his professional debut. But maybe now he feels that he might have a better opportunity to shine if he joins another team. According to the report, Paul's preferred destination teams include the New York Knicks, the Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers.
