NBA News: Matt Barnes Agrees to Deal with Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have signed swingman Matt Barnes, agreeing with the former Orlando Magic forward on a two-year deal worth a reported $3.6 million.

Barnes announced the deal in a Twitter update, posting “Its official I AM A LOS ANGLES LAKER. I wanna thank u for all ur patients and understanding. This is a dream come true!!! Good lookn Kobe.”

On Monday it was reported that the seven-year vet had agreed to a deal with the Toronto Raptors but that deal fell through due to sign-and-trade limitations put on the Magic.
