United Airlines Raises Prices to Offset Fuel Costs

United Airlines has bumped the price of their domestic flights in an effort to offset the rising cost of fuel and they haven’t ruled out the possibility of taking a page out of American Airlines book and charge passengers for checked luggage.

Passengers on United Airlines saw an increase of up to $60 for round-trip tickets on Thursday with all tickets seeing an increase of at least $10.

United Airlines, along with all carriers, has seen a dramatic spike in jet fuel costs just from the beginning of the year.

American Airlines recently announced they would be charging a $15 fee to passengers checking their first bag.
