Rodrigo Law Firm announces its first free bankruptcy seminar, “Consumer Bankruptcy Basics” to be presented to City of Ontario residents, YMCA members and residents within the Inland Empire. Less than two months after opening its first office in the Inland Empire, California, Rodrigo Law Firm is offering this free consumer bankruptcy seminar to educate the community on this important legal topic.
The free bankruptcy seminar will be held at the YMCA Ontario/Montclair facility located at 215 West “C” Street, Ontario on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 6:00pm. At the event, each attendee will have their specific questions answered by an experienced California bankruptcy attorney either during the seminar or shortly thereafter. Attendees will also be given free informational materials to take home for future reference. The firm’s founding attorney, Aruna P. Rodrigo, was quoted saying, “Education is the key to personal growth and success. The more you know about the law, the more relaxed you will be in life.” This event is the first in a long series of the firm’s community outreach events. Rodrigo Law Firm’s foremost interest is giving to the community of Ontario by offering free seminars on Bankruptcy, Criminal Law and Family Law, the firm’s primary areas of practice.
The Rodrigo Law Firm in California intends to offer one to two free legal seminars on bankruptcy, criminal law or family law each month to inform people of their rights and to help eliminate their stress. “Given the current economic climate, I believe it is important for people to understand their options and know that I am here to help in any way possible,” says Rodrigo. Rodrigo Law Firm provides information to the public on their rights and available avenues of action when faced with a legal challenge, such as Bankruptcy, one of the California law firm’s primary legal areas of practice. Although the firm cautions that no two cases are identical, “a basic foundation of knowledge is necessary in making a decision to file for Bankruptcy or defend or prosecute a legal action in Family or Criminal cases,” stated Rodrigo.
Rodrigo Law Firm will also be involved with the community by sponsoring one of the City of Ontario’s largest annual events, “National Night Out,” scheduled for Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. Police agencies and their communities will be joining forces to promote crime prevention, awareness, safety and neighborhood unity. In 2009, Ontario received national recognition for their activities during the “National Night Out” event, with over 8,000 households participating in the event.
