The park is named for the marked sharp triagular peaks of the Grand Tetons, which rise abruptly some 7000 feet above the surrounding valley. The park featuers several spectacular hiking trails and scenic drives. Fun places to go in the park include Colter Bay and Jenny Lake. The park is also located near the historic town of Jackson Hole, where tourists can enjoy a wide variety of enjoyable activites all year round.
