Foo Fighters to Perform at Norwegian Wood Festival in Oslo, Norway June 12

The Foo Fighters continue their run through Europe and will be making a stop in Oslo, Norway to perform at the Norwegian Wood Festival on June 12.

 

Joining the Foo Fighters at the Norwegian Wood Festival will be Queens of the Stone Age, Madrugada and Alanis Morissette as well as Dinosaur Jr., Rufus Wainwright and Jimmy Eat World.

 

Prior to their Oslo stop the Foo Fighetrs will be in Landgraff, Netherlands on May 31at Megaland and will then travel to Manchester for a June 2 date at City of Manchester Stadium. They will then hit London’s Wembley Stadium on June 6 and 7 before performing in Bergen, Norway on June 11.

 

With six studio albums and four Grammy Awards to their credit, Foo Fighters have established themselves as one of the most successful rock bands of the late 90’s and into the new millennium.

 

Former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl fronts the band with Taylor Hawkins on drums, Nate Mendel on bass and Chris Shiflett on guitar.
