The Cure Takes Stage at American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX on June 6

The Cure are back on tour after a two month layoff and will be performing at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on June 6.

The iconic band began their run of North American shows on May 9 and have played in front of sold out shows throughout their tour. Prior to their stop in Dallas they will perform at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in Quincy, Washington on May 25 and then hit Vancouver for a show on May 26 before heading into California for stops in San Jose (5/28), Santa Barbara (5/29), Los Angeles (5/31, 6/1), and San Diego (6/2).

The Cure have been working on a new album since 2006 with an expected release date in the Spring of 2008.

The Cure has released twelve studio albums with their thirteenth the works heading in to the new year. The styles of The Cure have been a major influence on several of today’s top acts, including My Chemical Romance and The Smashing Pumpkins.
