Robert Plant and Alison Krauss to Hit New York with Pair of Shows Beginning June 10 at WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden

Robert Plant and Alison Krauss won’t wait long before they hit the Big Apple as the pair rekindles their North American tour on June 2 in Roanoke, Virginia and a week later they’ll be in New York for two shows at the WaMu Theater at Madison Square Garden on June 10 and 11.

Plant and Krauss recently wrapped up their European leg and following their date in Virginia they will head to Uncasville, CT on June 4; Boston, MA June 5; Canandaigua, NY June 7 and Atlantic City, NJ June 8.

The two will also be appearing at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN on June 15.

Plant and Krauss announced they would be touring to support their Raising Sand album that was released on October 23, 2007. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked #24 by Rolling Stone in their Top 50 Albums of 2007.

While Plant and Krauss are expected to play several of the songs off Raising Sand they will also perform many of their own singles from their catalog.

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding a potential Led Zeppelin reunion tour following the incredibly successful show they put on in December at the O2 Arena in London but the likelihood of that happening remains slim.
