A bomb detonated on a crowded train in a suburb of Colombo, Sri Lanka has killed at least eight people and left more than 65 injured.
The bombing struck the Colombo-Pandura train while it was stationed at Dehwala.
A pregnant woman was among the dead in what was considered another attack orchestrated by the Tamil Tigers, a separatist group looking for a independent state for Tamil nationalists.
The Tamil Tigers have been known to use bombs as a method of attack and are believed responsible for the bus explosion last month that killed 20 people as well as the Feb. 11 suicide attack on a train stationed in Colombo.
