Skunk Ape Tracks Found in Everglades
Dave Shealy says he discovered proof that the animal exists and is breeding in the Big Cypress Natural Preserve in
“This particular area contains everything that a small group of animals would need to survive and this is where we found the track,” says Shealy. “The more I looked at it and saw the round toes and the differences, that’s when I knew I found a juvenile skunk ape track. I was very excited.”
The Skunk Ape is allegedly a large, hariy, monkey-like animal that puts off a stench similar to the smell of rotten eggs.
