11-Year-Old Attacked by Eagle, Suffers Head and Neck Injuries
An 11-year-old Michigan boy was attacked by an eagle on Sunday as he was walking through a patch of woods in Copemish, about 105 miles north of Grand Rapids.
Alex Birch had been in the woods around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday when an eagle swooped down and delivered numerous cuts and scratches to his head and neck.
Birch was treated at a local hospital and released.
