Dave Matthews Band to Perform Live at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston June 9

The Dave Matthews Band will be performing live at the DTE Energy Music Theater in Clarkston, Michigan on Monday, June 9 at 7:00 pm.  The band will then play at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania on June 10.

Also known as DMB, The Dave Matthews Band is a US based rock band formed in Charlottesville, VA in 1991 by singer, songwriter and guitarist, Dave Matthews.  The band is comprised of Matthews, LeRoi Moore, saxophone, Stefan Lessard, bass,  Boyd Tinsley, electric violin and Carter Beaufurd, drums.  Butch Taylor was a constant fixture in the band as a keyboardist, although he was never officially part of the band.

The band joined together in 1998 and has sold over 31 million units within the United States, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) who ranks them as one of the Top 100 Highest Selling Music Acts of all time.
