The Tamed Tigers

In a season of disappointment, the Tigers have shown their signs of greatness, only to be shadowed in a plagued stretch of bad baseball. Following their season, the downs have overpowered the ups for sure, but when the upside is apparent, the possibilities are endless.

The Tigers inconsistencies have outlined their season, and are running out of time for the excuse of having an opening season slump. The Tigers twelve and nine-teen run efforts make any fan a believer; however, the 8-15 May record does not. How the Tigers can lead the AL runs, but rank near the bottom in the win column, is a question that can only be buried in the skull of any Detroiter.

The Tigers will have to pick up these inconsistent droughts soon, or else it will be to late to stage any realistic comeback. It is still early to say a post-season bust in the cards, but seeing the Rays atop the AL, I guess anything is possible these days. Just when you think the Tigers push threw that wall blocking excellence, a void stops them in their tracks; a possible sweep in Los Angeles, is just another void plaguing their season.
