Caseys General Stores (NASDAQ:CASY) to Release Q4 2008 Earnings June 11

Casey’s General Stores (NASDAQ:CASY) will release the fourth quarter earnings for 2008 on Wednesday, June 11.  The company will then host a conference call the following day at 10:30 am ET to discuss the financial results.  A webcast of the call will be available at caseys.com/investors.html.

Casey’s General Stores, Inc. (Casey’s) operates convenience stores under the name Casey’s General Store in nine Midwest states, primarily Iowa, Missouri and Illinois. The stores carry a selection of food (including freshly prepared foods, such as pizza, donuts and sandwiches), beverages, tobacco products, health and beauty aids, automotive products, and other nonfood items. In addition, all stores offer gasoline for sale on a self-service basis.

On April 30, 2007, there were a total of 1,463 Casey’s General Stores in operation, of which 1,448 were operated by the Company (Corporate Stores) and 15 stores were operated by franchisees (Franchise Stores). There were eight Corporate Stores constructed and 52 acquired stores opened during the fiscal year ended April 30, 2007. It operates a central warehouse, Casey’s distribution center, adjacent to its corporate headquarters in Ankeny, Iowa, through which it supplies grocery and general merchandise items to Corporate and Franchise Stores.
