Madonna to Perform Live at Dodger Stadium in LA November 6

Madonna will be performing live at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California on Thursday, November 6 at 7:30 pm.  She well then move on to Nevada to perform in concert at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on November 8.

Legally named Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie, Madonna is a Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, dancer, musician, record producer and Golden Globe winning actress.  Considered “the greatest pop act of all time,” Madonna is often referred to as the “Queen of Pop.”  As a child, the young Madonna aspired to become a ballet dancer under the guidance of choreographer Alvin Ailey.  She first debuted within the entertainment industry as a dancer in Patrick Hernandez’s dance team.  She then formed a pop duo with Dan Gilroy called the Breakfast Club. 

Madonna began to gain popularity with the release of her self titled debut album in 1983.  Her studio albums, Like a Virgin, True Blue and Like a Prayer soared through the record charts.  She is called the “Best Selling Female Rock Artist of the Twentieth Century” by the Recording Industry Association of America is second only in record sales to Barbra Streisand.
