Rachel Ray in Keffiyeh Scarf Controversy

Rachel Ray and her Dunkin Donuts ad is causing controversy. The cook show host appears in the ad wearing a scarf that many believe is a keffiyeh, which is tradition clothing for Arab men.

Dunkin Donuts initially refused to remove the ad saying the scarf is not a keffiyah, it is one of the latest tends in the fashion world.

“The keffiyeh, for the clueless, is the traditional scarf for Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad. Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant and not-so-ignorant fashion designers, celebrities , and left-wing icons,” blogged Fox News’ Michelle Malkin.

The ad has now been pulled.
