Engineers have said that the famous leaning tower of Pisa has been stabilized and should remain so for the next 200 years.
The engineers had been working for a decade to prevent the 183-foot tower from toppling and at a cost of £20m the structure has finally rested in one spot.
While the engineers were removing soil from the northern side of the tower the structure began to right itself but recently stopped and is now resting in the same position.
The leaning tower of Pisa, made of white marble, was constructed as a bell tower and sits behind the Cathedral in the Italian city of Pisa.
