The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is a spectacular destination in the Superior National Forest in northern Minnesota. This beautiful location, formed from glacial activity, consists of lakes, canyons, cliffs, and rocky and sandy shores, making it an ideal location for hiking, fishing, and canoeing. This area also boasts several world-renowned resorts, making it an ideal travel destination.

Voyageurs National Park, located along the border lakes between Minnesota and Canada, is another wonderful place to visit. To visit it properly, however, one must explore it by boat. The park has a wide variety of wildlife, including kingfishers, osprey and eagles as well as moose and bear. In addition, the lakes are filled with plenty of fish, including northern pike, muskellunge, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and lake trout. Voyageurs National Park is also an ideal location for camping out, if you're adventurous.

Duluth, located on Lake Superior, is another thrilling destination. This city offers a great deal in the way of outdoor recreation, including water sports such as swimming, kayaking, boating and fishing. One can also enjoy the beautiful 4.2-mile Duluth Lakewalk. Other fun things to see here include the Aerial Lift Bridge, The St. Louis County Heritage and Arts Center, the Great Lakes Aquarium and Freshwater Discovery Center, the Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, and the North Shore Scenic Railroad.
