Truck Accident in India Kills at least 39
A truck carrying 70 passengers on their way to a wedding in southern India were killed on Thursday when the vehicle plunged into a river.
According to police the driver had swerved to avoid hitting an electrical wire but he lost control of the truck and it went over a bridge.
Several passengers were believed to still be trapped.
The accident occurred in Karnataka state.
