Madonna to Perform Live at MGM Grand Hotel in Vegas November 8
Madonna will be performing live at the MGM Grand Hotel in
Legally named Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie, Madonna is a Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, dancer, musician, record producer and Golden Globe winning actress. Considered “the greatest pop act of all time,” Madonna is often referred to as the “Queen of Pop.” As a child, the young Madonna aspired to become a ballet dancer under the guidance of choreographer Alvin Ailey. Madonna began to gain popularity with the release of her self titled debut album in 1983. Her studio albums, Like a Virgin, True Blue and Like a Prayer soared through the record charts. She is called the “Best Selling Female Rock Artist of the Twentieth Century” by the Recording Industry Association of America. She is second only in record sales to Barbra Streisand.
