Summer Camp Testimonials Give Parents Great Insight

From academic summer camps to traditional teen summer camps, parents turn to comments from other parents as a guide to their summer camp choices for their kids

Parents investigating academic summer camps, teen summer camps and all other types of summer enrichment programs are finding that one of the best sources of input in helping to make a decision is the testimonials they can get from other parents whose kids have attended camp before.

At SuperCamp's summer camp programs website, there is a testimonials page. The most recent addition comes from a high school counselor whose son attended SuperCamp for four years and is now in college. Her comments read, as follows:

"I am a huge fan of SuperCamp.  My son Mark went for 4 years.  It had a huge impact on his life.  He struggled through middle school even though he is quite bright.  SuperCamp helped him understand himself as a learner.  It also helped him see himself as successful and a leader.  He just finished his 1st year of college and had his best grades ever.  This kid, who struggled with organization, now effectively juggles school, work and several extracurricular activities.  Indirectly, SuperCamp also played a part in me going back to school to become a counselor."

SuperCamp also provides interested parents with parent references in their area whom they can call in order to get direct feedback on questions and issues they may have.

As a result of its many positive word of mouth referrals, SuperCamp is almost full this summer at its eight U.S. college locations. However, some spots do remain, so parents should visit the website or call 800-285-3276 for more information and to reserve a place immediately.

SuperCamp runs age-specific programs for students entering grades 4-5, 6-8, 9-12 and college.
