The 2008 Scripps National Spelling Bee will begin the quarterfinals on Thursday on ESPN360.com from 2-5:30pm EST.
The Scripps National Spelling Bee will then have its semifinals on Friday from 11am-2pm EST on ESPN. The championship finals will air on ABC from 8-10pm.
The Scripps National Spelling Bee, the nation's largest and longest-running educational promotion, is held at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC.
The spelling bee roster includes 288 students from the United States, American Samoa, The Bahamas, Canada, Europe, Ghana, Guam, Jamaica, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, South Korea, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
