Clay Aiken is reportedly going to be a father after getting his best friend Jaymes Foster-Levy pregnant, according to news reports on Thursday.
According to the report, Aiken, 29, artificially inseminated Foster-Levy, 50, and will be an active father in the life of the baby.
Aiken and his sexuality have been watched carefully since making the second season of American Idol. Many fans believe that Aiken is gay, but he has never declared his sexuality publicly.
Foster, who produced several of Aiken's CDs, is due in August. She is the sister of record mogul David Foster. She is divorced and has no children.
